1950's MUMMY MOVIES
Mummy movies of the 1950's. Re-entering the sacred tomb.
After an 11 year absence this horror genre came back with Abbott and Costello in 1955. The posters had great artwork but it was hard to take it seriously especially with the poor effort with the mummy wardrobe and make up. This was Abbott and Costello's second last film together and their last for Universal.
Both styles of the half sheets. Universal studios still had the great horror graphics on their movie posters in the 1950's.
This Belgium movie poster was just as colorful as the US posters.
The mummy was played by stuntman Eddie Parker who was in hundreds of movies.
Abbott and Costello also made other comedy horror movies. Other Abbott and Costello funny horror movies.
Poor effort and bad B movie but a great tag line "Blood Sucking Mummy...A Seductive Cat-Goddess. Unleashing 4000 Years Of Horror Upon This Century!"
THE AZTEC MUMMY MOVIES
In the late 1950's there were three Mexican mummy films Aztec style. They were quick films to produce utilizing the same cast and characters.
