Two examples of these movies were the 1959 The Mummy and Curse of the Mummys Tomb in 1964.Low budget horror movies were common but when they were produce by the Hammer Film Production, the quality of these movies were consistently high.

Very disappointing artwork for the US poster but you can see how by adding a little color like the French poster can greatly enhance the graphics.
